What does The Dog and Dragon offer: For the public: We offer a wide variety of artwork of both licensed work (e.g. Disney, DC, DreamWorks) to original concepts (e.g. fantasy, dragons, etc.) by our key artists: Heather Edwards: Heather focuses work includes religious symbolism, fantasy realism, equine and wildlife, and bold reworking of licensed characters. Kaitlund Zupanic: Kaitlund uses past and present masterwork painters as her new inspiration, she now hopes to make her fantastical ideas come to life in digital and traditional paintings. Scott Hattox: Scott is best known for his large-scale paintings of iconic characters – which he paints in multiple mediums; primarily gouache on watercolor paper and acrylic on canvas. For creators: We know that starting off as an an Artist, Illustrator, or Writer can be difficult. The Dog and Dragon provides a place to start by offering tools, expertise, exposure, and support - leaving our members free to focus on creating their masterpieces. About The Dog and Dragon: The Dog and Dragon is a group of travelers whose members are dedicated to telling stories that uplift, inspire and encourage individuals to become the best characters in their own personal stories. To accomplish this, members of the Dog and Dragon help facilitate the advancement and support of artists, illustrators and writers both in the creative process of their work as well providing venues where others can see, listen to and feel the artists stories. Since the incorporation of the parent company (WildstarTempest) in 2000, The Dog and Dragon members have actively supported charitable causes with events related to the entertainment industry. Today, Heather and Alexander run the inn of The Dog and Dragon and they welcome artists at all parts on their journey to come and share their stories to uplift, encourage and enhance the lives of others through their inspirational art.
