Founded in 2004 by James Heffron, Lawdog’s first major release, Territory 51, was released in July 2004 garnering a Russ Manning Most Promising Newcomer Award Nomination for writer-artist James Heffron and feature film development by producers Barry Josephson (Enchanted, Bones) and Jason Netter (Wanted) at 20th Century Fox. Now celebrating our 15th year, Lawdog Comics continues to publish genre bending comics from all-ages to mature reader books. Lawdog actively develops its growing library of original IP across multiple platforms, including film, television, games, and digital media.
