The Publishing Task Force (PTF) of the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) in Chicago (A non-profit organization funded by the Italian government) works in support of Italian publishers who aim to expand their business in the US. Specifically, we work to promote the initiatives of the book rights market between Italian and American publishers, including translation, international distribution and warehouse aspects. Our website, www.italbooks.com, will soon serve as an interactive platform for these activities. We facilitate the exchange of contacts and information between the two parties. We also assist and advertise Italian publishers through marketing campaigns, and by participating as exhibitor, at international book fairs, such as NY Book Rights Fair, ACTFL and last but not least, Comic Con International.
