MATAT is the trademark of La Red Niu Matat Napawika a network of 35 Social Enterprises or Women, that helps 3,000 artisans women to preserve traditional Mexican craft techniques. We aim to generate employment and income through the principles of equity, solidarity, diversity and the respect of economic, social, cultural and environmental rights- Our work benefits indirectly more than 13,500 marginalized indigenous families throughout Mexico. La Red is actively looking for new socially and environmentally minded buyers to promote artisans work. We are pleased to create customized designs. (less)
