ILA is a design collaboration between brother and sister Vikas and Ila Sodhani. The eponymous collection was launched in 2007 and was quickly selected by Saks Fifth Avenue, Lane Crawford, and ABC Carpet and Home, amongst other international retailers. The designers trace their roots in jewelry back to their ancestral homeland in the north western deserts of India, where the walls of the traditional homes were carved with the most skilled hand to tell stories of mythology of the land. It is these stories and their trips back to India that continue to inspire their collections. (less)
