Rural Africa Crafts is a US registered business which works directly with marginalized and poor weavers in Bolgatanga, Ghana, Africa. 98% of the weavers are women, most of whom are single mothers and widows who weave baskets as a main source of income. They produce the famous Bolga basket which comes in different forms, style, colors and patterns. The baskets are basically functional as well as decorative. They serve as a perfect gift.
