The Patriot Pin was started in the summer of 2016 as a direct result of the new laws in CA. It was started by two guys with an idea, a computer, and a 3D printer. Being avid shooters themselves, owners Bart and Travis were very frustrated by the new laws, and were determined to make it less painful for themselves and everyone else to comply. After trying many different parts that made the AR compliant, all of them had room for improvement on the takedown part of them. This is when the idea of the Patriot Pin came about.
