The patented Troy System has the highest noise absorption to assure a 1.25 second reverb time across all octaves from 125 Hz to 8000 Hz. This system, which is comprised of one layer of Portland Cement cementious wood fiber board and a layer of Troy Wool, is US Air Force approved for anti-ricochet and anti-splatter for errant 5.56 and 7.62 rounds.This allows the replacement of two layers of plywood.
