The company uses raw sheets of D2 and 1095 carbon tool steels to craft the blades and every knife is ground, assembled, polished and sharpened free-hand. The small Pacific Northwest company also forges their own 200 layer high carbon Damascus steel and recently designed and engineered a new line of pocket knives. SILVER STAG has been awarded with the NRA, RMEF, and NWTF Knife of the Year programs. The company also builds knives for RUGER and Cabela's.
